Hypebot posted a link to a YouTube clip of iMeem’s CEO Dalton Caldwell discussing his company’s strategy for monetizing and growing their brand. The company has seen remarkable growth over the past few years, which I would say is due to their inventive use of sharable media objects and their ability to harness the passion of their community relating to their subject. The fascinating thing is that iMeem have thrived in a crowded space using nothing but a product that already exists in a myriad of other forms. There are a million bands other out there, all pedaling the same sort of product. How will you differentiate yourself?
